Emergency Relief/Crisis to Development Assistance Here we are to provide and maintain education facilities in camps for refugees, internally displaced persons (s), and similar areas of need, et cetera. Currently, many countries in Africa, still enmeshed in or just emerging from protracted civil wars or similar crisis, are seriously in need of enormous and prolonged assistance to restore their education sectors. Quality education plays a central role in effective transition from crisis to development. We at AKF are preparing to undertake visits to these countries for on-the-spot assessment of the situation and to see what areas we can help. |
